The futures of the buildings listed below are of concern of the Sioux City Historic Preservation Commission. Some may be slated for demolition, some are vacant and in need of rehabilitation, and others may stand in the way of redevelopment opportunities.

Buildings "At Risk"

Certain buildings were acknowledged as historic and important but with uncertain futures and therefore classified as "at-risk". "At-risk" may mean that there is a potential for redevelopment that might jeopardize the building, there is physical damage to the building that may affect its viability, or there is a specific demolition order in place.
